Amazon, Tesla, SpaceX Object to OKX-ICE Tokenized Stock Venue

Corporate logos and trading terminal

Six new issuers raise the total to 56 companies blocking third-party tokenized versions of their shares on the planned OKXICE TSV.

MoneyTurkey Crypto Desk | 3 November 2026

Key points

  • Tesla, SpaceX, Amazon, Netflix, Lam Research and SoFi joined the list of objecting issuers in an updated OKXICE TSV notice dated Monday.
  • The objection count rose from 50 on Oct. 30 and 38 on Oct. 28, after the SEC’s September innovation-exemption order set a 30-day written-notice window.

Amazon, Tesla and SpaceX are among six companies that have told OKXICE TSV they do not want tokenized versions of their shares traded on the planned venue. The additions, listed in a Monday notice, lift the total number of objecting issuers to 56. Under the SEC’s innovation exemption, a company has 30 days after formal notice to object in writing; once it does, the venue cannot offer that stock.

What happened

The Monday notice added Tesla, SpaceX, Amazon, Netflix, Lam Research and SoFi Technologies to the roster. That followed an Oct. 30 notice that listed 50 companies and an Oct. 28 notice that listed 38. The first objections appeared on Oct. 15 with nine issuers.

OKXICE TSV is a 50-50 joint venture between Intercontinental Exchange, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, and OKX’s U.S. holding company. It plans to offer tokenized U.S. stocks on permissioned Uniswap v4 pools on OKX’s XLayer blockchain, paired with stablecoins such as USDC. Users must pass identity and sanctions checks and hold a non-transferable “soulbound” token verified by the venue’s smart contracts.

The SEC’s September innovation-exemption order requires the venue to notify an issuer before listing a third-party tokenized version of its shares. If the issuer objects within 30 days, the venue is barred from offering that stock. The objection applies only to OKXICE TSV; the notice states the venue may still list shares tokenized by the issuers themselves, though none are identified.

Why the numbers matter

The latest batch deepens the list of large-capitalization holdouts. Amazon, Tesla and Netflix now sit alongside earlier objectors Microsoft, Alphabet and Nvidia. SoFi, a fintech firm that offers crypto trading, adds a company with its own exposure to digital assets. SpaceX trades under the ticker SPCX.

Apple remains one of the few megacap names not yet on the objection list. The venue’s notice also states that tokenized stocks it offers are not restricted to trading on OKXICE alone.

What to watch

  • Any further updates to the OKXICE TSV objection list
  • Whether issuers that have objected consider offering their own tokenized shares
  • How the 30-day notice window affects additional issuers
