MoneyTurkey Crypto Desk | 3 November 2026

Key points

  • ARK purchased 64,208 Coinbase shares worth about $9 million and 110,551 Circle shares worth $8 million across two sessions.
  • The firm sold 342,545 Bullish shares for roughly $8 million; all three stocks closed lower on Monday.

Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest added Coinbase and Circle shares while trimming its Bullish position as crypto-related stocks declined. The firm bought an estimated $9 million of Coinbase and $8 million of Circle across three ETFs on Friday and Monday, according to Cointelegraph and daily trade disclosures. It sold about $8 million of Bullish shares over the same period. All three stocks closed lower on Monday.

What happened

ARK purchased 64,208 Coinbase shares and 110,551 Circle shares across its exchange-traded funds. The trades were disclosed in filings and valued at closing prices reported by Yahoo Finance. The firm also bought around $646,000 of Robinhood shares on Monday.

At the same time, ARK sold 342,545 Bullish shares worth approximately $8 million. Cointelegraph reported the purchases and sales occurred across two trading sessions as crypto stocks declined.

Coinbase closed down 3.98 percent at $137.83, Circle slipped 0.63 percent to $72.08, and Bullish fell 5.7 percent to $22.54. Robinhood declined 1.4 percent to $83.80, according to Yahoo Finance.

Holdings impact

Circle ranked among the top five holdings in three ARK ETFs as of Tuesday. The position accounted for $270.3 million, or 4.6 percent, of ARKK; $71.4 million, or 4.4 percent, of ARKW; and $42.6 million, or 5.9 percent, of ARKF, according to ARK’s holdings disclosures.

The new purchases increase ARK’s exposure to the stablecoin issuer and the crypto exchange operator at lower prices after the recent slide.

Market reaction

The moves come after crypto stocks posted losses on Monday. Cointelegraph noted that Coinbase led the selloff following a reported $6.3 billion Binance hack. ARK’s buying and selling activity was disclosed in routine daily filings.

The firm’s actions show continued allocation to select crypto-exposed names even as prices fell, while reducing exposure to Bullish.

What to watch

  • ARK’s next daily trade disclosures for any further Coinbase or Circle purchases
  • Price action in COIN, CRCL and BLSH after the reported hack
  • Changes in Circle’s weighting across ARKK, ARKW and ARKF
